14's fight hard in tough groups!

Both the boys & the girls 14 & under county cup teams worked hard all weekend in tough groups.

14's, one week anyway from County Cup

The play-offs are over and now the boys & girls main teams are preparing themsleves for county cup. The girls have their last training session this Wednesday, while the boys spent last monday fine tunning their strageries & tactics!

 

The girls will travel to Essex (which we all know is the only way!). While the boys get to sleep in their own beds and battle it out at North Oxford.

Congratualtions to both the boys & the girls who managed to hold their places in the same division for next year. Both teams had to fight hard in the 3rd and final day to secure their places in their current groups for 2013.

 

Some outstanding individual performances were needed, but overall the Oxfordshire team spirit was the true winner.

18's county cup campaign kicks off

This week sees the start of 18's county cup. The boys will be travelling to Taunton, while the girls are in sunny Newport!

 

The boys willl be looking to follow on from their success from last year, when they got promoted. The girls have a tough challenge ahead of them, with three of the top eight players unable to play.

In the new year we will be making the selections for the summer season training camps. We were due to make this selection on the 7th January, however this date has now been moved to the 10th January so we are able to take into account the latest ratings changes.

End of season newsletter

Our first season has now come to an end. Jon closed this season with another great boys camp at the White Horse centre in abingdon. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved. Please view the newsletter for a summary of what happened this season.

Three 18 & under junior players selected to represent Oxfordshire at Senior county cup.

Georgina Todd, Patricia Valimaa & Lucy Ingram have all been selected by the ladies county captain, Emma Tolson, to help compete this weekend for Oxfordshire. The event is three days long and starts this friday. Well done girls & good luck to both the mens and ladies teams.
