Bicester Lawn Tennis Club have two coaching vacancies!

Club Coach

We are looking for a club coach to join our coaching team, to help develop the progressing programme. The candidate must hold a minimum of Level 2 qualification.

The position will start off as part-time, initially with the minimum of 12 hours per week, with room to rapidly increase workload if desired. Saturday mornings (9am-12pm) are essential.

The position will consist of delivering programme hours, individuals and school sessions. The programme includes mini tennis, junior sessions, adult sessions, working alongside the Head coach with performance players, disability sessions and cardio tennis.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills, who is organised, punctual and professional to approach. The coach must feel confident working on his or her own with groups of children and working with large numbers in schools. The role will include keeping registers up to date and feeding back to head coach on a regular basis and will attend regular coach meetings to help the coach develop.

Coach must be available to start from 22nd April 2019.

Assistant Coach

We are looking for an assistant coach to join our coaching team, to help assist our growing coaching programme and school holiday camps. The candidate must hold a minimum of Level 1 qualification.

The position will start off as part-time, working alongside our coaching team during our weekly programme and during school holiday camps. Including Saturday mornings.

The candidate must be available to work between Monday and Friday during school holidays, specifically the summer school holidays (middle 4x weeks).

The position will consist of assisting in programme hours and in-school sessions. The programme includes mini tennis, junior sessions, adult sessions, working alongside the Head coach with performance players, disability sessions and cardio tennis.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person, willing to learn, who is organised & punctual. The assistant must be able to play at an adequate level and feel confident working with a group of children. The role will include feeding back to head coach on a regular basis.

The Head coach will help the new candidate to reach their goals, help train them to reach their level 2/3, if desired. Attend regular coach meetings to develop the coach.

Coach ideally will be available to start from 22nd April 2019.
